Feature Hunting…

David LaBelle’s fantastic book, The Great Picture Hunt: The Art and Ethics of Feature Hunting has been regular reading for me since I bought the book several years ago.  If you haven’t read it and are interested in photojournalism, it is a great read.  I captured the image above while on a photography trip through downtown Austin…on a bike.  Feature photos are everywhere in this town, you just have to find them.  (You may see me at a cat show this weekend, hunting for a good feature…)
